The QASTM professional developments services process consists of 5 strategic steps, to help ensure the client gets the best for their business in a timely manner. These are as follows:
- Step 1: Consultation
We will initially request a TDS (Technical Design Specification) from the client, or we can provide a template TDS that they will initially complete, with the assistance of one of our staff if required. This provides QASTM with an initial project description. QASTM will then provide an approximate estimate of the cost and time required to do the work.
- Step 2: Design
One of our project managers will then closely communicate with the client to elaborate a comprehensive and detailed project concept. Based on that concept the project manager will then create a prototype and a Functional Design Specification (FDS). The client will then also participate by providing feedback and comments that are incorporated into the prototype and FDS. When the prototype is approved by the client a final project estimate is then prepared and passed on to the client for approval.
- Step 3: Development
Upon the completion of the previous steps development coding then starts. The project manager will then continue to communicate with the client to clear up all details and reports on the project progress. The project manager will also supervise and coordinate work on graphic design and testing for the entire solution. As development starts in earnest there will be a request made to the client for a deposit of 20% of the quote to be made to QASTM.
- Step 4: Go-Live
At this stage the developed solution is deployed on the client’s servers, or on a QASTM hosted site, and is placed into operation. There will then be an official structured UAT (User Acceptance Testing) made of the delivered solution by the client or their representatives.
- Step 5: Ongoing Support, Development & Maintenance
